The Gallura

The Gallura, ancient and fascinating area, has been a hive of commercial activities and cultural exchanges since ancient times. Since the pre-Roman period until nowadays the Gallura and Anglona areas have seen the origin of ancient populations, the migration of those from the north coast of the island to the inner part due to raids, until the tourism revival of our days.
There are a great number of prehistoric sites dating back to the Neolithic and pre-Romanic period spread all over the districts of Olbia Tempio and Sassari.
The same districts have been established during the Punic and Roman period.

The Gallura area has been throughout history a hive of the European commercial activities and cultural exchanges and for this reason it has developed a unique and strong tradition that extends in the whole Sardinia.

The project

The project of Valledoria has been designed in 2006 with the acquisition of a residential zoning a few kilometres from the town of Valledoria, in the northern part of the Gallura area.
The construction site is at just one kilometre far from the beach, immersed in the luxuriant countryside of the north Sardinia with a breathtaking view of the Sardinian sea.
Since the beginning we thought of the project of Valledoria as a holiday house project. However, it is not to consider just as the usual “beach house”. Its strategic location, indeed, allows you to reach not only the most beautiful Sardinian beaches, but also to organise tours in the inner part visiting places such as Casteldoria, Santa Maria Coghinas, Valledoria and Badesi. Its 50 apartments distributed on 3 levels have been designed in order to guarantee a high quality living providing for wide spaces to be enjoyed especially in summer time such as wide terraces where is possible to have a nice dinner or simply contemplate the view of the sea.
To add more value at the residential complex is the wide swimming pool at everyone access as well as the surrounding gardens. Moreover, the project includes a wide garage on a lower level.
We are confident that the traditional arches and colours make Valledoria 2 a “cult” place that will satisfy our high expectations.

The construction site

Works have started on January 2006 and they are almost finished right now.
As shown on these pages, our residential complex is almost ready and it is also possible to check some other pictures on www.home-investment.co.uk , showing the stages of works month by month, since the very beginning. The main structure is already done and some of the main features such as the particular color scheme, the typical wooden covered balconies as well as the the arches are already the visula emblem of the building. You can also appreciate the some internal views of the apartments with different kinds of furnitures.
Everything is almost done and as the big central swimming pool will be finished the apartments will be delivered to their owners.
